Yoooooooooo what’s good gang🤪🤪

My sister told me I sounded like a druggie during my last email and asked me if I could tone it down a little bit in my next email. Unfortunately, I am actually on drugs now as I’m recovering from a cold. So we ARE NOT🙅‍♂️🙅‍♂️TONING IT DOWN!!!📈📈🔥🔥🥶⛓️🔐

This week we saw KISEKIS!!! That means MIRACLES in Japanese. What were the miracles you ask?? I’m not gonna tell you cause I gotta go through the salty before the sweet lemme chef up real quick👨‍🍳

– We asked FOUR 4️⃣ people to be put on date for baptism and ALL FOUR SAID NO🔥🔥🔥

– I went to a police station for THREE 3️⃣ hours because I left my violin on the TRAIN 🚆 and had no proof I owned it🔥🔥🔥

– I have been SICK 😷 for TWO 2️⃣ days 📅 and cannot TALK🔥🔥🔥

– We had ONE 1️⃣ referral offer to pay us money to STOP✋️🛑 calling him (it was our first time calling and it was for a free Japanese class)🔥🔥🔥

– Sister Milan, an 80 year old grandma, started beating me up for ZERO 0️⃣ reason🔥🔥🔥

OK Countdown 4️⃣3️⃣2️⃣1️⃣!! Here’s the kisekis!!!

+ The ZL’s friend was baptized!! I learned how to play the organ last minute by request and played the hymns for the service 🥳🥳

+ Izumi family and Brother Kouchi both took us out for conveyor belt sushi 2x 😋😋

+ Taught great lessons with Mrs. Youko, Ms. Fukushima, and Ms. Aoi👨‍🏫 Invited them all to get DUNKED💦 and they said not yet tho Fukushima said lemme get back to you on that next week 🔥🔥

+ Mr. Yoshida sat by me before sacrament meeting and I ended up teaching him all about the life before and Jesus Christ’s atonement and he loved it, taught him again today🤯🤯

+ Mr. Salvador pulled up to church and asked to be baptized first time we met🥶🥶

My spiritual thought is simple today:

D&C 58:26-29 When we seek to do good of our own volition and free will, and are agents unto ourselves, we are given the reward of a testimony of the reality of Christ. On the other hand, when we don’t do anything until we are commanded and likewise recieve such a commandment with doubt and slothfulness, we will not end up in joyful circumstances. We will not have a lasting testimony of Christ.

It’s a little like skiing. If you sit back in your skis, you’re gonna have a bad time. You don’t really get the option to turn where you want to down the hill. You are pushed down the hill by gravity with no control to do things of your own volition. On that same note, if you just allow yourself to be pushed around by ANYONE (the world, whatever may seem easiest, even church leaders) and don’t try to work for your own testimony, with a glory to God in all things, I cannot promise you will find joy, success, or meaning. I can unfortunately promise you will feel trapped and slothful and be lead away from God.

On the other hand, when you sit forward in your skis, you’re the one in control. You are an agent for action. It’s incredibly satisfying to be an agent for action. You don’t do things (good or bad) because other people tell you to do them (boo!). You do things because they are righteous and ultimately bring joy (yay!). Seek the Kingdom of God first, and then all else will be added onto you. I can testify of the reality of the nature of this active vs inactive engagement in Christ. It’s not a fun journey sitting back in skis! I once crashed into a 40 year old woman and got called a danger to society on a blue slope before I learned how to ski🤪🤪 (On another note, if you french fry when you’re supposed to pizza, you’re gonna have a bad time. Thanks South Park.)

Okay love you all see you next time!! I’ll try to be more insane this was quite mid tbh but I’m sick and need rest pray for me chat I’m cooked bru
